The Good Stuff:
The Lipson Family, owners of Paws Up Ranch and The Resort at Paws Up, has been committed to protecting its piece of the pristine Blackfoot Valley since taking ownership of the property over 14 years ago. The family believes that the guests of The Resort at Paws Up share their passion and vision. Accordingly, the Lipson family continues to pursue leading-edge eco-friendly green initiatives and remains vigilant in stewarding Paws Up to be the green pioneer in the ranch, resort and hotel industries.
The Resort at Paws Up engages in all of the familiar practices of conscientious hotels - earth-friendly cleaning products, energy efficient lights and provide our guests the option to re-use linens. But they don't stop there. At Paws Up, they have made several major commitments that put the resort at the leading edge of the movement as the nation's first carbon neutral resort and a major conservator of land.
What We Love:
Instead of committing resources and energy to new buildings, several of the guest accommodations and most of the resort’s facilities such as restaurants, associate housing and offices were created by converting existing and historic
ranch buildings and homes.

Above and Beyond:
Their natural approach to landscape at Paws Up not only looks better as the accommodations blend beautifully into their natural surroundings, but also conserves water and energy as irrigation is reduced to zero after brief “grow-in” periods required to establish healthy ground cover and maintenance requirements are minimized.
